Baking has been my passion since I was 16 years old, and cookies were always my favorite thing to make. As a teen, I went through cookbook after cookbook trying to find a perfect recipe until realizing that I’d have to make it myself. My goal was to create a cookie that felt classic and new at the same time. To me, that meant chewy, but not too crumbly, made with high-quality ingredients that tasted like home from the first bite.

After years of trial and error, and a devoted focus group of taste-testers (my friends, wife, and kids), I landed on a recipe that felt cozy and familiar, yet wonderfully unexpected.

With the support of my wife, I began sharing the cookies with people from our church, packing them in our kids’ lunchboxes before school, and baking whenever friends needed something sweet in the midst of a struggle. Soon, our church community started to expect my cookies at picnics and holiday services. Our kids shared them with their buddies and brought them to potlucks. Our friends said they loved the cookies so much they wanted the option of ordering a box whenever a craving hit. And Mr. Reggie’s Cookies was born.

It wasn’t easy getting things started and it took a while to manifest, but praise God, here we are….
